Although we have a lot of great apps on the iPads, there are also a lot of great web-based applications that you can use. There will be posts on some of them later this week, but the biggest challenge teachers face with them is getting students to type in the web address.
If you're only planning on using a webpage one time, the easiest method is to either use Google Classroom or a QR code to send the link.
But if it's a link that you want the students to access over and over again ( for example, Kahoot ), then it's best to put a link on the desktop of your iPad. Here's how :
1) Open up Safari and type in the web address you need to go to. ( You must use Safari. Chrome won't work )
2) Just to the right of the web address bar is the share button. It looks like a box with an up arrow coming out of it. Click on it.
